First of all, I would like to thank the organizer for inviting me to give a speech at the third tianfu culture BBS! Chengdu in October, hibiscus flowers, very beautiful. This is an international metropolis as old and fashionable as Paris. People's kindness and smiling faces make me feel warm and kind! The appearance of tianfu new area is beyond my imagination. There are many amazing buildings, green trees and heavy traffic. It is a miniature of China's rapid development and a huge achievement of reform and opening up. 
I am the member of the ile-de-france region, the deputy mayor of the 12th arrondissement of Paris, and I am responsible for culture and tourism, which explains why I am here with you today.
Paris 12 district gathered France's top craftsman, art atmosphere is strong. We have been committed to promoting cultural tourism, paving the way for artists and craftsmen, providing exhibition and operation space for many artists, and holding cultural exchange BBS with many countries and regions, promoting international and diversified development.

Since 1998, I have initiated the Paris cultural pass program, which gives parisians in the 12th arrondissement free access to art institutions in and around Paris. I strongly support the exchange and cooperation between French artists in Paris and Chinese artists in sichuan. Chengdu nong garden is our important cooperation institution and has participated in the 12X12 art festival for many years. The 12X12 art festival is a major cultural and arts event organized by the 12 municipal governments and 100 ECS cultural institutions in Paris. Today, Ms. Yang li, President of chengdu nongyuan international art village, is also attending the tianfu culture BBS. I would like to express my gratitude to the chairman Yang li!
Paris is an artist's paradise !

As an annual activity in the 12th district of Paris, the 12X12 art festival has been held for the ninth time since 2010, bringing a feast of exhibitions, plays and performance art to the masses. FESTIVAL 12X12 exhibits a variety of art categories in different forms and disciplines: visual art (digital art, video, photography, installation art, performance art, easel painting, pattern design); Performing arts (music, dance, drama, opera, etc.).
A feast of art is held every day in Paris. Paris is an important coordinate point of international culture.
"Culture is a symbol of the different and independent existence of different nations in the world. The unique culture of each nation not only represents its own historical tradition, but also a symbol of its actual existence.

I have noted that jean-pierre raffarin, former prime minister of France and President of the vision and innovation foundation, said that although China and France have different cultures, they always adhere to the principle of seeking common ground while putting aside differences and uphold mutual understanding and respect. The world today faces multiple challenges and conflicts. Countries should join hands to maintain peace and build consensus through cultural exchanges.
French culture minister Frank Riester said that the cultural exchanges between China and France are constantly expanding, including deepening cooperation in culture, film, art and book publishing, as well as cooperation in museum exchanges, cultural heritage protection and digitization of libraries.
I come to chengdu this time to find a new way of cultural exchange between Paris and chengdu, and I want to think with you about how tianfu culture can be internationalized.

From the international perspective, some new trends have emerged in the cultural industry, which deserve our attention:
First, the growth of the international cultural market is accelerating, with the fastest growing in the asia-pacific region.
Second, cultural industry and high-tech industry are closely integrated, with digitalization, networking and intelligentization dominating the future development.
Third, the cultural and creative products of countries along the "One Belt And One Road" are more interdependent in import and export trade.
Fourth, the development of cultural industries in various countries is increasingly unbalanced, and international cultural competition is becoming increasingly fierce.
In the international coordinate, how should tianfu culture show its charm and elegant demeanour?
We have observed that the cultural exchanges between China and France have deepened in recent years. Paris and chengdu are like cultural stars. Chinese artists from chengdu came to live in Paris, and French artists came to live and create in chengdu.
Through communication, our artists can integrate some of your cultural traditions and innovations, and vice versa. As facilitators, we have great satisfaction. Because many Chinese brought their excellent Chinese culture to Paris and were recognized and respected by Parisians.
The world culture, colorful. In my opinion, in the international coordinate, Paris has the cultural advantage and artistic charm of Paris, and Chengdu has the artistic charm and cultural advantage of chengdu. Paris and Chengdu, human temperament, very similar. Chengdu and Paris are shining stars in the sino-french cultural exchange drama. Exchanges and cooperation between chengdu and Paris will be more frequent and fruitful.
In the process of modernization, Chengdu has not forgotten the culture of its ancestors. Three thousand years of tianfu culture has stood the test of time here. From the Stone Age to the jade age to the Bronze Age, everything has been preserved. This is a special contribution to human civilization! In the international coordinates, tianfu culture is a sun god bird!
We have learned that China attaches great importance to the preservation and promotion of handicrafts. For example, embroidery is listed in the list of China's national cultural heritage, so is ceramics, hand-woven, woodcut and so on. They exist in the art of life, or appear in the performance of sichuan opera house, or in the lion and dragon dance in the temple. There are more than 1,000 years of history and world-famous shadow puppets. All these will be the concern of France and the world.

It was important for me to work with the Chinese community in Paris. The Chinese community is very active in Paris, and the number of Chinese visitors to our capital is enormous. Paris is the concentration of Chinese and French culture and culture flow, but also tianfu culture display and dissemination window. We look forward to tianfu culture in Europe and the world to show her unique charm! We have a lot to learn from each other, and culture is our bridge of communication. Without culture, there can be no successful and balanced life.
I know we all have this cultural need. With this common belief, we will be able to provide the citizens of Paris and chengdu with new and more communication services and open up to them the cultural diversity of our two cities.
